by | Dec 10, 2020 | Music

Laced with captivating blends of Punk, Rap, Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B, Rico Nasty sets out to put the world on fire with the release of her eloquently savage debut album Nightmare Vacation.

It’s not surprising to hear from some of the major artists on the Hip-Hop/Rap roster including Gucci Mane, Aminè, Don Toliver, Trippie Redd, and fellow female rappers ppcocaine, Sukihana, and Rubi Rose. Overall, the 16-track album doesn’t disappoint. Rico Nasty is able to get us singing along and dancing maniacally to the energy-driven songs filled with a rhythmic and lyrical captivation that not every rapper can pull off from start to finish.

Over the years, Rico has been able to find her place in the vast world of the music industry that relies on artists changing their mannerisms in order to fully succeed with their predetermined fanbase. The album Nightmare Vacation is a milestone in her career displaying how her journey from rags to riches is possible for anyone without having to change who you are. She leaves us with the simple message to keep rocking to the beat of your own drum and doing what you enjoy cause life will work out as long as you live the life you want (amongst many other turnt up messages).

Songs like “Candy,” “Don’t Like Me,” “Loser,” and “OHFR?” and “10Fo” will continue to leave a long-lasting impression as her music remains timeless for many years to come. Stream the full album on Spotify and all other major streaming platforms.
