A spaceship was sighted over Central Texas by none other than Browns Quarterback Baker Mayfield. According to a tweet from the NFL star, he and his wife spotted a UFO on their drive home from dinner Wednesday night.
“Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky” said Mayfield. “… we stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it”. He went on to describe the craft as a “very bright ball of light going straight down towards Lake Travis”.
The tweet created a buzz on social media. Notably, sports commentator Colin Cowherd took a shot at the QB over the sighting, “Aaron Rogers also claims he saw a UFO. Brady never saw one. Montana never saw one… Baker and Aaron both claim they saw a UFO. What do they have in common?” Both Mayfield and Packers QB Aaron Rogers have yet to win a Super Bowl Championship.
Whether it was truly a UFO or not is unknown, but with Mayfield claiming to be “almost 100%” – there’s a chance. Perhaps an alien species have their bets on the Browns this upcoming season and are just checking up on their franchise player. Whatever the case may be, it’s a hell of a claim from the Texas native.
