Athletes across the country are sharpening their creative skills off the field due to postponed seasons as a result of COVID 19.

For Mitchell Schwartz, cooking has always been a part of his family lifestyle. In 2016, the offensive lineman and brother Geoff Schwartz shared their journey to the NFL, Jewish family traditions and their love to cook in their autobiography, “Eat My Schwartz: Our Story of NFL Football, Food, Family, and Faith.”

Today, Schwartz shares some of his favorite summer dishes in his new series Mitch in the Kitch, featured on KC Chiefs YouTube channel. The ten episode series features a Bucanti Pasta recipe, Bratwurst, Mexican Style Street Corn and much more.

You can also check out Schwartz’s Mitch in the Kitch blog site for a full list of recipes and instructions.
