One of the biggest sibling rivalries of all time is coming to the big screen with the help of a soccer legend. Soccer superstar David Beckham announced he will produce a mini-documentary series covering the decades-long feud between Adidas and Puma.

The series will follow the two brands from their foundings in the town of Herzogenaurach, Germany where the Dassler brothers opened competing shoe businesses within a year of one another. Puma was launched by Rudi Dassler in 1948, while Adidas was launched by brother Adi in 1949.

Titled World War Shoe, the documentary will explore the relationship between the two brothers and how it turned from a competitive nature to a fierce rivalry. Expect plenty of legal battles and family drama in this series on one of fashion’s all-time greatest feuds.

The series will be produced by Beckham’s manager, David Gardner’s, production company Studio 99 in collaboration with Boat Rocker Studios. Unscripted and Matador Content. For the time being, there is no official release date for the project.

Speaking of Puma, Kyle Kuzma designed his own shoe for the brand only a few months ago. Check that out here!
