Amazon has partnered up with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to produce a new docuseries about the soccer star’s life. Entitled The Pogmentary, the series will be released entirely in French.
Sources say the docuseries features unseen footage from Pogba’s childhood as well as conversations with some of his friends, family, and teammates. It will follow Pogba’s journey to being one of the biggest names in soccer through his eyes.
Black Dynamite, a production company in Paris, will work with Amazon to produce the series. The company previously produced Tony Parker: The Final Shot, a documentary on the former Spurs guard that debuted on Netflix this year.
The Pogmentary will release sometime in 2022.
