Fight Club Auctions WNBA Signed Sneakers to Support Breonna Taylor

by | Aug 18, 2020 | Collectibles

It’s been over five months since the death of Breonna Taylor and her family is still seeking justice.

Sneaker Reseller company Fight Club is teaming up with Sue Bird of the WNBA Seattle Storm and Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury to combat police brutality against Black women and continuing the conversation around the Black Lives Matter movement.

Together Taurasi and Bird are auctioning off their game-worn, signed sneakers with 100 percent of all proceeds going to the Breonna Taylor Foundation

Each sneaker included in the auction bears handwritten names of Black women who have lost their lives to police brutality.

The auction ends on August 21st at 11a.m EDT on Flight Club’s Instagram. All bids must take place in the comments section of the post. The winner will be sent both pairs of sneakers upon proof of donation to the Breonna Taylor Foundation.
