Jack Harlow Joins Forces With Big Sean On “Way Out”

by | Dec 11, 2020 | Music

Sticky situations don’t stick when it comes to Jack Harlow finding a “Way Out” of each miscommunication as portrayed in the newest single featuring rapper Big Sean. The duo released this collab for the dope new track set to appear on his upcoming album That’s What They All Say along with a music video set in a high-class restaurant and abandoned carousel.

Speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, he reveals how Big Sean DMed Harlow following the release of “Tyler Herro” led to this unexpected collaboration. “I pulled up to his house in LA a few days later and played him “Way Out.” He knocked out his verse right in front of me,” Harlow shares. “As a longtime Big Sean fan, it’s an honor to have him be a part of my debut album.”

Harlow’s quick-witted lyricism is joined by a steady flow and expressive raps from Big Sean, perfectly setting the mood for the direct revelations. The “What’s Popping” rapper maintains his charismatic personality when balancing the transformative experiences influencing his songs.

“I can tell who’s on the way out

25 shows check the pay out

I ain’t going home imma stay out

Muf*ckas hate you when they lookin for a way out

I just sit back and let it play out.”

That’s What They All Say will feature guest appearances from Lil Baby, DaBaby, Lil Wayne, Bryson Tiller, and many more. The album will be available on December 11.
