Kanye West Speaks Out On “The Joe Rogan Experience”

by | Oct 30, 2020 | Music

Joe Rogan and Kanye West sat down for an intimate conversation this past weekend that lasted a full three hours. Kanye publicly reached out to Rogan on Twitter requesting an interview on his popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.

West eagerly anticipated appearing on the show to discuss everything from his run as presidential candidate, catching coronavirus, his fight against record labels to his sneaker lines. The variety of topics discussed opened the door for viewers to understand Kanye in a deeper context, which they both admitted was the goal of having him on the podcast.

“You know, it’s like the movie,” he told Rogan. “This part, us talking right now, may be a scene from my life’s movie.”

In the diversified range of topics discussed at the infamous podcast, Kanye West admitted to feeling bad whenever he hears his rap music from the past. “I feel bad when I hear rap songs. I feel bad [about] even the stuff that I just recently put out,” he admits as he references how music has a huge influence on people, especially millennials who spend a majority of time on the internet.

He also mentioned his plans to run for president in 2024 since catching coronavirus this year abolished his plans. Throughout the conversation, he had a thing or two to say to the naysayers who didn’t believe him when he said he was going to run this year. We’ll just have to see how everything turns out in 2024!

There’s a lot more to learn about Kanye West, who remains to be one of the most controversial rappers and producers doing his own thing in the music industry.

“Beyond my expectations, and I think people are going to have a much better understanding and appreciation of how this man thinks,” Rogan said before the release of the episode. “I really enjoyed talking to him, and we had a lot of fun.”
