Nike Athletes Make Appearances in Drake’s New Music Video

It may be almost 20 years since Drake debuted his acting skills on the TV show Degrassi, but the rapper shows he hasn’t lost his touch in his recent “Laugh Now Cry Later” music video featuring Lil Durk

The video showcases Drake on the court with Kevin Durant and on the field with Odell Beckham Jr. rapping about overcoming struggles and celebrating success in both sports. Marshawn Lynch makes a special appearance too, seen tackling the rapper out of nowhere. Halfway through the video Drake shares a comedic scene with comedian and Instagram sensation Druski2Funny

OVO engineer Noel Cadastre stated late last month that Drake’s latest album is “90% finished…but ya’ll gonna have to wait on that last 10%”.

If the album doesn’t release in the next month we anticipate it to drop closer to the rapper’s birthday in late October.

The video was directed by Steve Myers in Beaverton, Oregon at the Nike World Headquarters. Watch the “Laugh Now Cry Later” music video below.
