Kodak Black Delivers First Post-Prison Song “Every Balmain”

by | Feb 9, 2021 | Music

Kodak Black has remained busy since a pardon by former President Donald Trump resulted in his release from prison last month. After dropping “Last Day In” on January 23rd, a song addressing his critics and post-prison plans, the rapper has come back with another single.

Released ahead of the Super Bowl, the new single “Every Balmain” runs roughly three and a half minutes and name-drops Tom Brady multiple times. Differing heavily from “Last Day In” the track focuses on Kodak Black’s lifestyle filled with beautiful women and expensive clothes as well as touches on his paranoia from so many interactions with law enforcement.

Returning to his roots, Kodak spits ad libs that only Kodak could pull off as he imitates gunshots before rapping a melodic verse. Fans reacted ecstatically, with one Youtube user commenting “The Goat is Back!!!”.

With two singles released in only a matter of weeks, hip hop heads should have reason to believe a new album by the South Florida rapper could be coming soon. Until then, there is still plenty of new music for rap connoisseurs to enjoy. NBA Youngboy just dropped a new single as well, titled “Toxic Punk”. Click here to give it a listen.
