LaMelo Ball has always been a fan of the finer things in life. The Hornets’ point guard drove a Lamborghini at only 16 years old. He’s been flashing his luxury apparel on Instagram since high school. Now at only 19, LaMelo is the owner of a $10.1 million mega-mansion.
Purchased by LaMelo in January of this year, the property sits along the coast in Jacksonville, North Carolina. With 11 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, and a variety of entertainment amenities – this property truly has it all.
The estate’s entrance features a custom diamond chandelier hanging from it’s impressive 30 foot high ceilings. A grand double bridal staircase leads to the mansion’s upper floors. Large windows allow for spectacular views of the North Atlantic Ocean.
LaMelo’s master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the estate’s spa. Also visible from the master bedroom is LaMelo’s 3,000 foot indoor pool complex. The indoor pool was a custom addition made to the property by Ball himself, costing the Hornets guard a reported 1.2 million.
LaMelo’s new crib is right next door to his new boss – basketball legend and Hornets owner Michael Jordan. It’s suspected Jordan pushed LaMelo to buy the property, perhaps so Jordan could keep a close eye on his franchise’s young star.
