LeBron James’ SpringHill Company May Be Up for Sale

by | Jul 14, 2021 | Entertainment

LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Cater began the Springhill Company just last year. Now with the release of the company’s blockbuster motion picture ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ only days away, Bloomberg is reporting that LeBron may be shopping the production company around for an outright sale or investment.

Negotiations are said to be in primitive stages for the moment. LeBron and his business partner are reportedly seeking a $750 million valuation for the company – a sizable return on the $100 million they had raised to begin the company just last year.

It is rumored Nike may be in discussions to invest in the SpringHill Company. The apparel company has a long-running relationship with James, who signed with the shoe brand at 18 years old. Whether Nike is interested in purchasing the production company outright or acquiring a majority stake is up for speculation.
