LeBron James will surpass $1 billion in career earnings in 2021

by | Feb 19, 2021 | Sports

Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James is on the brink of history. The four time NBA champion is set to cross a milestone in career earnings this year – one billion dollars.

While unclear whether his one billion in career earnings translate to a billion dollars of net worth, we are aware of several high-profile endorsements the athlete has inked over the past few years. Lebron’s lifetime Nike endorsement is reportedly worth over 1 billion dollars alone. Recently the athlete left his longtime sponsor Coca-cola, to ink an endorsement deal with Pepsi. While specifics of the deal are unknown, it is assumed James will be the beneficiary of mass financial gain through the deal. Lebron had been the go-to spokesperson for Coke’s Sprite soda brand for years.

Lebron’s financial success comes from more outlets than his endorsement deals or massive NBA contracts. The star athlete’s production company SpringHill Entertainment has created an array of successful series including “Uninterrupted’ and “The Shop”. James’s filmmaking ambitions go beyond serving as a producer, as the Lakers star has continued to take on acting roles in Hollywood. In addition to producing the new Space Jam movie, he will also serve as the film’s lead actor.

The basketball star’s investments don’t stop there, he recently invested in an alcohol company.
