Grammy Award winner announced the launch of his new golf-apparel line this week. The brand, titled Bogey Boys, launched their online store featuring an array of brightly colored button up tops as well as plaid patterned pants and accessories.
A relatively new golfer, the rapper says his love with the sport began back on Thanksgiving of 2018. Since then, he has become what he calls “addicted”, leisurely golfing in his free time at any chance he has. With so much of the musician’s time already taken up by the sport, it was only a matter of time until the rapper incorporated golf into his professional life.
Now a golf entrepreneur, Macklemore will face steep competition from golf giants like Ping, Nike, Taylormade and more. Seeming to target the younger, more culturally aware golfer, the brand borrows marketing techniques and design styles from other successful streetwear brands.
