NBA YoungBoy has climbed to the top of the rap game over the past few years and he continues to show no intention of slowing down. The Baton Rouge native followed up his historic 2020 run with his latest single “Toxic Punk” on Wednesday.
The song isn’t your typical YoungBoy trap-style track. Instead, the rapper goes deep into his failed relationship, admitting his flaws and questioning his relations with others. It comes just months after the birth of his seventh child.
NBA YoungBoy is also in the midst of his last relationship’s aftermath having left Yaya Mayweather, the daughter of famed boxer Floyd Mayweather. The breakup was messy, ultimately leading to Yaya stabbing the rapper’s baby mama. She is now facing legal charges.
Alongside YoungBoy on the charts, Lil Durk continues to make waves. His latest music video honoring the late King Von was released last month, watch it here.
