The Sportswear giant releases its newest personalized shopping experience called Nike Rise. The innovative retail concept debuted in Guangzhou, China as an effort to engage sports and city communities. 

The 15,000 sqft store is designed as a digitally advanced sports hub where members can participate in weekly sport-minded activations, in-store workshops and events organized by local Nike athletes and sports influencers. Members can connect through the Nike app or by visiting in person. 

Nike’s new retail concept aims to increase in-store visits by consumers to boost sales. The sportswear company features a “Nike By You” personalization bar inside the store and also a “Nike Fit” technology designed to find the best fitting for shoes. Both of these features encourage members to visit Nike stores frequently. 

The Nike Rise concept store in Guangzhou officially opened to the public on July 9th, 2020 and has plans to expand globally in 2021. For more information, visit Nike News.
