It was the greatest comeback in an All-Star Game the sport of basketball had ever seen. The year was 2001, Allen Iverson’s Eastern Conference All Star team was down 95-74 against Kobe Bryant and the Western Conference with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Iverson went on a tear 15 of the team’s 25 points in a comeback run that went til the final seconds of the game.
The entire performance was accomplished with the star rocking his white and black Reebok Question Mids. With All Star Weekend approaching, Reebok has decided to re-release the shoe in honor of the historic comeback’s 20th anniversary. The shoe will be dubbed “Why Not Us?’.
With it’s black and white color pattern, DMX cushioning units and black translucent outsoles – the shoe is sure to turn heads amongst the sneaker community. Pairs are available for purchase on the Reebok website as well as major shoewear retailers beginning March 6h.
