San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay debuted his newest “Abdalla” clothing line collection on Monday, October 26. “Abdalla” comes from Abdalla Ah’ Dolla which is a pronoun translating to “Servant Of God.”
“These are just the first steps to use Rudy’s love for fashion to help bridge the gap between street wear and sports. Please enjoy!” he mentions on the official website for his brand RG22.
As someone who’s never afraid to show his own personal style, fashion comes in the sense of being comfortable. He ensures that his style is impressive yet makes him feel like he can conquer the world in anything he wears. The launch includes trucker hats, t-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and jackets ranging from $45 to $160. To purchase your own piece of the Abdalla collection, check out his RG22 website!
“When you’re in this game, having some kind of passion outside of the sport is important,” he previously said in an interview with SA Current. “We’re all supportive of each other when it comes to those passions.”
When it comes to style, Rudy Gay tries to include everyone. He launched a children’s clothing line inspired by his sons back in 2018 named “We Can All Ball,” only available on Zappos. The collection featured an orange-black theme that paid tribute to his hometown of Baltimore, with every detail containing some kind of meaning to his life and his children’s.
