Shawn Mendes “Wonder” Documentary Review & Upcoming Album

by | Dec 4, 2020 | Music

Shawn Mendes has released his first documentary Wonder documenting his global concert tour, beginning with the driving force behind everything he does: “Nobody for one second looked at me and said, ‘You’re crazy. They all said, ‘Go for it.'”

The documentary shows the heartbreaking moment when having to cancel a tour date hours before the event and the amount of pressure it has placed on the 22-year-old musician, growing musically with the support of his family and girlfriend Camila Cabello, and navigating the ups and downs of being away on tour for so long. The film gives a genuine preview of his life as he acts as one of the doc’s executive producers.

The Wonder album will be available this upcoming Friday, December 4th. He will be doing a live stream benefit concert to celebrate the album’s release, titled Wonder: The Experience on December 6th. Fans can RSVP to attend the live stream for free as well as donate to the Shawn Mendes Foundation, a sponsored program of the Social Impact Fund.

His leading single “Wonder” is now available, sharing new insight into the progression of his musical journey from the past year until now. Check out the documentary Wonder currently available on Netflix.
