“We celebrate the life and work of Pop Smoke as our Top Artist,” SoundCloud said in a statement. “The rising Brooklyn drill star was beloved by the SoundCloud community and they continue to show it. In 2020 alone, fans streamed Pop Smoke’s music over 191,500,188 times.”

SoundCloud also praised Lil Mosey with Track of the Year “Blueberry Faygo,” the most-streamed remix goes to NLE Choppa‘s “Different Day” (Lil Baby – Emotionally Scarred Remix), BTS broke a few records, Top DJ Set goes to RL Grime “Halloween IX,” and many more wins across the board. There are also many tracks mentioned with titles or tags related to the Black Lives Matter movement, which were streamed over 53.5m times this year.
