Lebron James’s media company UNINTERRUPTED released their latest docu-series Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers on IMDb TV this past Friday. The series follows the infamous Sierra Canyon High School basketball team, highlighting the pressures on the elite team as they face an onslaught of media attention.
Produced by both James and business partner Maverick Carter, the show dives deep, detailing more than just the on-court action of the student athletes. With Sierra Canyon being the most talked-about high school basketball program in the country, viewers will get a first hand look within the minds of the team’s athletes and their drive to retain championship status amidst rigorous academics, internet notoriety and mounting expectations.
Sierra Canyon’s team includes the likes of Bronny James, Lebron’s son, as well as Zaire Wade, the son of Dwayne Wade. Also on the roster are more of the nation’s top recruits such as Amari Bailey and Shy Odom.
The release comes within weeks of Lebron passing one billion dollars in career earnings, in part thanks to his endeavours in media and film. Read our story on that here.
