Teammates Miles Bridges & Dwayne Bacon Drops New Mixtape

by | Oct 21, 2020 | Music

The Charlotte Hornets just got two of their players rocking out to the beat of their own tracks with their newly released mixtape, Flint to Lakeland.

Paying homage to their hometowns in Flint (Miles Bridges) and Lakeland (Dwayne Bacon), Flint to Lakeland features 10 tracks highlighting important areas of their lives away from basketball.

Fresh out of his Rookie season, Miles Bridges is jumping right into his other passions starting off with music. Sports are such a huge part of their lives but music drives them outside of their comfort zones and into new territory. Lyrically, listeners can hear in their voices their appreciation for their neighborhoods, the fast life, chilling with the flyest girls out there, keeping their oaths to their hoods, and playing ball.

Both NBA players take their turn releasing their thoughts onto the mic with a variety of instrumental beats in the background. The lowkey, rhythmic instrumentals hype us up with their raw, honest raps in the foreground of the tracks.

Get to know these multi-talented guys with their new EP, Flint to Lakeland, as they hype up the females in their lives and the hoods they came up in. It’s the realist range of stories discussing everything that makes them Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon.
